The inspiration for 2024s Pinata comes from the RX9 Hellfire missile, commonly referred to as the “ninja bomb.” Instead of detonating, this missile tears through its target and surroundings with long blades that fold out from its body.
An additional blade was incorporated into the design of the piñata, bringing the total to seven and maintaining its connection to the traditional seven-pointed star pinata.
